A back frame and backlight system. The back frame (23) comprises at least a first and a second main assembly component (231, 232). At least two main assembly components assemble together to form the main frame structure (27) of the back frame (23). The back frame (23) also comprises secondary assembly components disposed inside the main frame structure (27). The secondary assembly components assemble onto the main frame structure (27) to form the back frame (23), and convex bumps are arranged upon the main assembly components and/or the secondary assembly components. By means of the convex bumps arranged upon the main assembly components and/or the secondary assembly components, the back frame (23) is able ably to support a light-diffusion mechanism (24), thus enhancing the structural stability of the backlight system.
