<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce adverse effect on spray characteristic due to followability and responsiveness of an injector and fluctuation of a pressure difference between a fuel pressure and a cylinder inside pressure to optimize atomization characteristic, mixing characteristic, and ignition characteristic of fuel thereby improving fuel consumption and exhaust emission. <P>SOLUTION: A fuel injection control device of an engine supplies fuel to a low pressure fuel line 13 through a low pressure fuel pump from a fuel tank not shown to further increase pressure of the fuel of the low pressure fuel line 13 with a high pressure fuel pump 12 and the pressure is adjusted with a pressure adjusting valve 11, thereafter the fuel is supplied to a high pressure fuel rail 8. The high pressure fuel rail 8 corresponds to the injector 7 in each cylinder to interpose a surge tank 10 so as to compensate pressure drop in the high pressure fuel rail 8 due to fuel injection with a surge volume of the surge tank 10 to optimize the atomization characteristic, the mixing characteristic, and the ignition characteristic of the fuel thereby improving the fuel consumption and exhaust emission. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
