<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing methylacetylene in better yield than the conventional separation and recovery method from a C3 stream of a naphtha cracker. <P>SOLUTION: The method for producing methylacetylene includes synthesis from 2-chloroethanol and/or a vinyl chloride monomer by a catalytic reaction using a catalyst containing at least one metal element selected from a group consisting of W, Mo, V, Mn and Re. The catalyst is preferably at least one selected from the group consisting of oxides, oxo acids and salts thereof containing at least one metal element selected from the group consisting of W, Mo, V, Mn and Re. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
