<p>According to a method for generating vibrotactile traveling waves for enabling the vibrotactile traveling waves by sequentially actuating a plurality of actuators while changing frequencies according to the velocity of a virtual object of the present invention, an electronic device provided with at least two actuators detects a vibrotactile traveling wave event, which occurs due to shifting of a touch signal or shifting of a graphic object, determines therefrom location shift information of the virtual object, divides a movement track of the virtual object into two, and outputs a vibrotactile traveling signal with respect to each of the track portions by means of different actuators, thereby providing a variety of haptic effects that change velocity, acceleration, and direction, among others, in accordance with the movement of the vibrotactile traveling wave event.</p> |
