<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of managing interference that occurs during wireless communication, by reducing the power level of an overhead channel during a call. <P>SOLUTION: An optimized reduced power level for an overhead channel of an unplanned access point to an associated access terminal is determined during a call between the unplanned access point and the associated access terminal.
