<p>The temperature-dependent switch (10) has a switching device with bimetallic snap disc (31) and a spring snap disc (26) at which a support region is provided to support a movable contact element (29). The spring snap disc cooperates with the contact surfaces (18,22) of the contact element. The bimetallic snap disc cooperates with the spring snap disc such that the movable contact element is lifted in dependence on the temperature of contact surface (18). The contact element is detached from support region of spring snap disc over a portion of peripheral region by a gap. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) method for manufacture of a temperature-dependent switching device; and (2) method for manufacture of temperature-dependent switch.</p> |
