<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accommodate a refill for a staple in a cartridge or a packaging body in a stable posture. <P>SOLUTION: The refill for the staple has a refill body 11 accommodating coupled staples 10, a staple discharge opening 16 arranged in the refill body 11 and discharging the coupled staples 10 accommodated in the refill body 11, the first positioning protruding part 17d arranged in a front face 12a of the refill body 11, and the second positioning protruding parts 19, 19 in a back face 12d of the refill body 11.
