VIBRATION-PROOF MATERIAL AND VIBRATION-PROOF METHOD IN EARTHWORK MATERIAL COMPACTION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a structure from being influenced adversely in earthwork material compaction.

SOLUTION: A vibration-proof material in earthwork material compaction is comprised of a vibration-proof material 2 which is provided just behind a structure 1 in which an earthwork material 3 is laid and leveled. The vibration-proof material is a mat-shaped member in a three-dimensional net shape where a number of wires are entangled while forming a number of irregular loops and reduces propagation of vibration to the structure caused by a vibrating compaction machine which is used for compacting the earthwork material.
