<p>The invention relates to a tool (10) for disassembling the plunger (32) of an oil filter, wherein said plunger can be placed in a housing (36) comprising a stop (64) at the upper end thereof and an emptying channel (40) at the lower end thereof, said plunger comprising: . at its lower end a stopper (56) capable of obstructing said emptying channel (40) when the plunger (32) is in a low position, and . retention means (58, 60) suitable for retaining said plunger in said housing when said plunger is in a high position in which said emptying channel is open and in which said retention means are stopped by said stop, said plunger being capable of being moved in said housing between said high position and said low position.
