PURPOSE: A device and a method for drowsy driving prevention using audio data are provided to ensure a safe drive by objectively identifying the drowsy driving of a driver for delivering warning and guiding messages to the driver. CONSTITUTION: A device(200) for drowsy driving prevention using audio data comprises an audio input unit(210), a control unit(220), and an output unit(230). The audio input unit is inputted with the audio data of a driver. The control unit compares the reference audio data of a driver before driving with the audio data of the driver while driving for determining the drowsy driving of the driver. The output unit outputs warning and guiding messages when determining the drowsy driving.
