<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface treating agent containing no a ≥8C perfluoroalkyl group and using a fluorine-containing monomer which is easily commercially available. <P>SOLUTION: A surface treating agent composition contains a fluorine-containing polymer having (i) a repeating unit derived from a fluorine-containing olefin and (ii) a repeating unit derived from a hydrocarbon-based vinyl. The fluorine-containing olefin is preferably represented by formula: CR<SP POS="POST">1</SP>R<SP POS="POST">2</SP>=CR<SP POS="POST">3</SP>R<SP POS="POST">4</SP>(wherein R<SP POS="POST">1</SP>, R<SP POS="POST">2</SP>, R<SP POS="POST">3</SP>and R<SP POS="POST">4</SP>are identical or different, and are each hydrogen, fluorine, chlorine, bromine, 1-10C alkoxy, 1-10C perfluoroalkyl, 1-10C polyfluoroalkyl represented by formula: C<SB POS="POST">m</SB>H<SB POS="POST">n</SB>F<SB POS="POST">p</SB>(wherein m is an integer of 1 to 10; n is an integer of 1 to 2m; and p is 2m+1-n), 6-18C perfluoroaryl or 6-18C polyfluoroaryl). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
