<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove an applicable dark current component from a signal in a case where imaging-means images over a specified period by using a value of the dark current in a case where the imaging-means images over a predetermined period. <P>SOLUTION: An imaging device 9 includes: a read part 1 having plural imaging elements linearly arrayed; a controller including a specification part 20, a control part 21 and a storage part 22; and an irradiation part 3. The storage part 22 stores first and second signals obtained by causing imaging elements to image by illuminating no light toward a subject to be imaged respectively for a first period and a second period being longer than the first period. The control part 21 estimates, by means of a linear interpolation using the first and second signals, a value obtained in the case of the imaging elements to image with no light illuminating over a third period specified by the specification part 20 and illuminates light over the third period to obtain a third signal by causing the imaging elements to image.
