摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To specifically detect an RNA having a similar sequence with high sensitivity. <P>SOLUTION: Provided is a metastable double stranded probe capable of detecting a guanine-containing target nucleic acid, or a composition formable of the metastable double stranded probe, wherein the metastable double strand has at least one C/I base pair, and comprises a first strand having at least one cytosine residue and a second strand having at least one inosine residue (I) formable of a base pair with the cytosine residue, the second strand has a sequence corresponding to the target nucleic acid except the inosine residue, and the metastable double stranded probe is able to produce a stable double strand of the first strand with the target nucleic acid by performing strand exchange in the presence of the target nucleic acid. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
