<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil supply apparatus configured to preferentially supply oil from an oil pump driven by an engine to a valve open/close timing control part. <P>SOLUTION: The pressurizing area of an oil pump P is divided into two areas to form a first discharge opening 18 and a second discharge opening 19 having a larger opening area than the first opening. The oil from the first discharge opening 18 is sent from a first discharge port 11 to a control oil channel 5; and the oil is supplied from the control oil channel 5 to a valve open/close timing control apparatus 1. The oil from the second discharge opening 19 is sent from a second discharge port 12 to a lubricating oil channel 7; and the oil is supplied from the lubricating oil channel 7 to a main gallery 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
