<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve convenience related to weight check. <P>SOLUTION: A self-checkout terminal includes: recognition means for recognizing a commodity code from a bar code attached to each commodity; list management means for, each time the recognition means recognizes a commodity code, associating a flag showing unexecuted weight check with the commodity code and registering it in a list; setting means for setting, as a weight check object commodity, a commodity corresponding to one or more commodity codes among commodity codes in the list with each of which a flag of unexecuted weight check is associated; measurement means for measuring a weight of each weight check object commodity; and weight check means for reading a weight range corresponding to a commodity code of each weight check object commodity from a commodity data file storing an allowable weight range of each commodity in association with its commodity code, and determining whether it is consistent with a weight measured by the measurement means. The list management means changes the flag of a commodity code corresponding to each weight check object commodity for which the weight check means determines the consistency from unexecuted weight check to executed weight check so as to exclude the commodity from weight check object commodities. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
