A vending machine provided with a control means (50). During a normal cooling operation, the control means circulates the internal air cooled by means of an evaporator (4a) within a product storage container (2) so that the internal air flows into a rear-side duct (20) from a bottom-side opening (21) and is discharged from a top-side opening (22) by driving a bottom-side interior air-blowing fan (F1) and a top-side interior air-blowing fan (F2) forward. Meanwhile, the control means stops driving the bottom-side interior air-blowing fan (F1) and the top-side interior air-blowing fan during a coldness preservation operation, and drives the bottom-side interior air-blowing fan (F1) forward and the top-side interior air-blowing fan backward during a cooling recovery operation. As a consequence, during the coldness preservation operation and the cooling recovery operation, the internal air cooled by means of the evaporator (4a) flows into the rear-side duct (20) from the bottom-side opening (21) as well as from the top-side opening (22), and finally the internal air that flowed into the rear-side duct (20) is discharged from a middle opening (23).
