<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video recording control device and a video recording control method which allows for easy programming of video recording of continuous programs. <P>SOLUTION: According to this embodiment, the video recording control device comprises detection means, recording programming means, and acquisition means. The detection means detects a broadcast schedule of a next episode of a selected program on the basis of program information for a predetermined period. The recording programming means programs recording the next episode of the selected program on the basis of the broadcast schedules detected by the detection means. In a case where the program information for the predetermined period is not acquired when the detection means detects the broadcast schedule of the next episode of the selected program, the acquisition means acquires the program information which is not acquired yet. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
