The night parking light consists of two lights which are positioned on each side of a vehicle to aid the driver s visibility when reversing into a parking space. The lights can be connected to the electronics of the vehicle and turn on when the vehicle is put into reverse automatically, or they can be turned on manually and can also be powered by batteries and operated by a signal. They can be positioned anywhere on a vehicle as shown in figures 1, 2 and 3. They can be any size and shape and can be combined with a side indicator light. The night parking lights come on even when the visibility is good and the vehicle is put into reverse, they can be combined with a sensor and only come on when it is dark or visibility is poor and can work only when the vehicle s headlamps are on.
