PURPOSE: A wide width heat spreader for cooling a digital information display device is provided to easily install inside a highly integrated thin type digital information display device since a substrate is easily manufactured to be thin and to have a wide area and to dissipate heat by increasing a contact area with a highly thermal device. CONSTITUTION: A lower housing(110) has a bottom surface(111) and a side step(112) formed by being upwardly protruded according to the outer circumference of the bottom surface and a space of predetermined volume for accommodating a metal plate wick(130) inside. A combined body of the metal plate wick and a mesh net(140) is accommodated in the inside of a space formed by the lower housing and an upper cover(120). The metal plate wick forms a trough and a crest by wrinkle formation process of a copper thin film with excellent thermal conductivity. A plurality of thermal medium recovery holes(133) is formed on a capillary tube pattern of the trough and the crest. The metal plate wick is combined with the mesh net. The mesh net promotes movement and diffusion of fluid.
