PURPOSE: A device for controlling an image display corresponding to movement of a terminal and a method thereof are provided to easily control image loading speed through a movement operation of a simple terminal, thereby increasing user experience. CONSTITUTION: A storage unit(120) stores an image. A display unit(150) displays the image of an image list. A sensor unit(130) senses movement of a terminal. When the movement is sensed, a control unit(160) successively outputs images of the image list based on a movement direction and an angle of the terminal. The control unit calculates a movement change rate and determines loading speed of a next image in a current image displayed on the display unit.
