The plant comprises a superheating subassembly, and a water tank with double walls. Heat insulation between the double walls supplements entry of the steam from the superheater coil into the ferroxidising tank in a tangential direction relative to the tank dia. The workpieces are oxidised with the aid of a semi-helicoidal turbulising deflector.
