摘要 PURPOSE:To avoid knock speedily by providing a counting means for performing increment each time knock is generated and decrement when the generation of knock is not detected for a first specified period, and setting a second specified period according to the count value so as to perform delay correction during the second specified period. CONSTITUTION:This ignition timing control device is provided with an intake pressure sensor 26, a water temperature sensor 30, an intake air temperature sensor 32, a crank angle sensor 40 and a knock sensor 44, and these output signals are inputted into a control unit 50 where the basic ignition timing is computed from the operated state of an engine to correct the ignition timing according to the detected state of knock. In this case, a counting means is provided to perform the increment of the count value each time the generation of knock is detected and to perform the decrement of the count value when the generation of knock is not detected during a first specified period. A second specified period for inputting the output of the counting means so as to perform continuous delay correction is then set, and delay correction is started at the time of detecting knock and this delay correction is continued during the second specified period regardless of the existence of knock generation.
