A BOARDING BRIDGE HAS A WHEEL CHAIR MOVING APPARATUS

PURPOSE: A boarding bridge with a wheel chair moving device is provided to safely board wheel chair passengers and to reduce a boarding time of many passengers. CONSTITUTION: A boarding bridge comprises a driving unit(110), a moving unit(120), and a movable foothold(130). The driving unit is installed in the front bottom part of the boarding bridge which contacts to a gateway of an aircraft in order to compensate for the gap and a height difference between the gateway of the aircraft and the boarding bridge. The moving unit comprises a slider which interlocks with the driving unit; and guide rails for guiding the movement of the slider. The movable foothold is positioned above the moving unit in order to move longitudinally and vertically.
