<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure for easily installing a wind turbine to generate power using wind power. <P>SOLUTION: This power generation device is configured by hanging the wind turbine 1 and a generator from a wire 5 laid over the valley. In the power generation device, grooved upper cut-out portions 34 conformed to bending deformation of the wire 5 are formed in opening portions 32 on both sides of an insertion hole 31 of a cylindrical member 3 provided in a shaft of the wind turbine 1.
