PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piezoelectric vibrating piece and a piezoelectric device that suppress negative effects of stress on an excitation section.

SOLUTION: A piezoelectric vibrating piece (130) includes an excitation section (131), a frame section (132), and a connecting section (133). The excitation section (131) has a rectangular shape, and includes: a pair of excitation electrodes (134) formed on two respective main surfaces thereof; a first side (138a) that extends in a first direction; and a second side (138b) that is longer than the first side (138a) and extends in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction. The frame section (132) surrounds the excitation section (131). The connecting section (133) connects the excitation section (131) to the frame section (132). The connecting section (133) has: a third side (138c) that is connected to the first side (138a) and extends in the first direction; and a fourth side (138d) that is connected to the frame section (132) and extends in the first direction. The connecting section (133) is thinner than the frame section (132). The third side (138c) and the fourth side (138d) are different in length from each other.
