PURPOSE: A method and a system for providing an Internet game service enabling quick room generation and entrance are provided to allow a user to select a desired entrance mode, select and enter a room after searching for a room in accordance with a condition of the selected entrance mode, or, if there exists the room in accordance with the condition, a room generation to be automatically executed, thus, the process of selecting a channel server and game room to be skipped, thereby increasing absolute play time and concentration of user on a game. CONSTITUTION: A game server searches for a game room which is matched to a selected entrance condition(S1300). The game server determines whether the game room matched to the condition exists in search result(S1400). If the game room matched to the condition exists, the user is allowed to directly enter the room(S1500). If the game room matched to the condition does not exist, the game server creates a new game room and the user is allowed to directly enter the new game room(S1600). After the user enters a game room, if a condition to run a game is satisfied depending on entrances of the other users, the game is started by approval of a leader in the game room(S1700).
