<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently weld an X-ray contrast medium containing a thermoplastic resin to the surface of gauze, in medical gauze with an X-ray contrast medium. <P>SOLUTION: Gauze 2 is pulled out from a gauze roll 2A, inverted by an inversion roller 16, sent by a belt conveyor 12, and wound in a roll shape by a winding device 9. From a nozzle 19 of an X-ray contrast medium supply device 7, an X-ray contrast medium 3 in a semi-molten state is pushed out between a flat belt 15 of the belt conveyor 12 and the gauze 2. The gauze 2 is pressurized to the flat belt 15 by pressurizing rollers 17 and 18 and the X-ray contrast medium 3 is welded to the gauze 2. The X-ray contrast medium 3 is not stuck to the pressurizing rollers 17 and 18 since it is pressurized by the pressurizing rollers 17 and 18 through the gauze 2. The X-ray contrast medium 3 welded to the gauze 2 is cooled and solidified on the flat belt 15 and then detached from the flat belt 15 at the downstream part of the belt conveyor 12, so that it is not stuck to the side of the flat belt 15 either. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
