<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gauged cornea protection cap capable of sufficiently protecting a cornea from the cell cytotoxicity of a disinfectant or from physical contact from outside in intraocular injection, and capable of easily determining a puncture site of an injection needle. <P>SOLUTION: The gauged cornea protection cap 1 is used in the intraocular injection. The gauged cornea protection cap 1 includes: a container-shaped corneal protection part 2 opened under the bottom and capable of covering the surface of the cornea 5 on the surface of an eyeball; and a gauge part 3 extended outward from the cornea protection part 2 and capable of measuring the distance from a corneal ring 5a on the surface of the eyeball. The cornea protection part 2 is elastically deformable, and can be fixed on the surface of the eyeball with attraction generated between the inner surface of the cornea protection part 2 and the surface of the cornea 5 as the space 4 between the inner surface of the cornea protection part 2 and the surface of the cornea 5 is in a negative pressure state when the cornea protection part is placed on the surface of the eyeball. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
