SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus forms an image by overlapping toner images in a plurality of colors on a recording medium S. At least one of a plurality of colored toner forming the toner images is a fluorescent toner Ft, and a toner forming a toner image in the other color is a transparent toner Tt that is transparent and does not absorb light in the visible light region, and exhibits light absorbing property in the ultraviolet region.
