摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tunnel excavator with a traction type cutter replacement mechanism for an underground joint method, capable of constructing a longer distance tunnel in a short construction period by effectively using the traction type cutter replacement mechanism concurrently. <P>SOLUTION: An excavator body 10 is provided with any one of a penetration ring 51 and a hydraulic rubber ring 29 for receiving the penetration ring and also a cutter head 12 with extendable cutter spokes 33a to 33f on the inner periphery of its front part. A cutter train MC in which a plurality of center cutter bits 35 are bendably connected together is supported so as to be traction-slidable on a guide rail 46 provided on the cutter spokes and an intermediate support beam 13, and thus the center cutter bits can be replaced. Furthermore, the guide rail is divided into a cutter spoke side and an intermediate support beam side, and a guide rail 46a on the cutter spoke side is allowed to slide in the radial direction of the cutter head. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
