<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner container that suppresses the occurrence of aggregation of toner when the toner container is increased in capacity and filled with toner in high density, and transported and stored in a heat cycle environment, or in a usage environment; and maintains performance for supplying toner to a developing unit and suppresses abnormal images such as firefly images. <P>SOLUTION: A toner container includes a toner discharge port for discharging a toner stored inside the container, and a part to be held having an opening/closing member for opening and closing the toner discharge port; and can be attached to and detached from an image forming apparatus body.
