<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire where rolling resistance is reduced without degrading controllability and stability. <P>SOLUTION: The tire 20 includes a tread 22 of which the outer surface forms a tread surface 46, and a belt 34 located on the radial inner side of the tread 22. The belt 34 includes first multiple cords and second multiple cords each extending by tilting with respect to an equatorial plane. The first cord extends from the side of one end T1 of the tread 22 via the equatorial plane toward the side of the other end T2 thereof. The second cord extends from the side of the other end T2 of the tread 22 via the equatorial plane toward the side of one end T1 thereof. On the side of the one end T1 of the tread 22, the first cord is located on the radial outer side of the second cord.
