<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain pods from overlapping in a conveying direction. <P>SOLUTION: This pod sorting apparatus 10 is adapted to vibrate an aligning part 12 to convey pods 20 forward on a supply base 18, a first aligning base 22 and a second aligning base 24 in this order. Further, a conveyor part 28 conveys the pods 20 forward, and a first sensor part 42 and a second sensor part 48 measure the pods 20. An ejector 56 thereby sorts the pods 20. In the aligning part 12, the pods are dropped by a step difference between the first aligning base 22 (a first storage part 22A) and the second aligning part 24 (a second storage part 24A). Consequently, even when the pods overlap in a longitudinal direction on the first aligning base 22, the pods 20 are dropped on the second aligning base 24 from the top of the first aligning base 22, and a drop impact is applied to the pods 20 to restrain the pods 20 from overlapping in the longitudinal direction on the second aligning base 24. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
