<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of easily performing an operation for providing a slip preventer on a handgrip. <P>SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus (composite machine 1) comprises: a pair of side covers 40 for forming side faces on the outside right and left sides of the image forming apparatus; a handgrip 30 formed so as to be recessed toward the inside right and left sides of the side covers 40; a connection member 50 for connecting the pair of side covers 40; and an assembly member 60 which is arranged separately from the connection member 50 and assembled from the inside toward the handgrip 30. A vertically penetrating insertion hole 31A is formed on an upper wall 31 of the handgrip 30 and a protrusion 61 which protrudes downward is provided on the assembly member 60. And, if the assembly member 60 is assembled to the handgrip 30, the protrusion 61 is arranged to protrude from the upper wall 31 of the handgrip 30 downwards through the insertion hole 31A. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
