<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a print data creation device and a printer for creating a label for making it possible for a user to select his or her desired book even when books whose spines are narrow are displayed in a book shelf. <P>SOLUTION: When the length of a width direction(spine length) of a spine 612 of a book 61 is less than a predetermined value, a label creation device creates an index label 51. The index label 51 includes: a first index label part 511 which is attached to the surface of one cover 611 of the book 61; a second index label part 512 which extends to a direction separating from the spine 612, and on which information is printed; a third index label part 513 bent to the spine 612 side, which extends along the second index label part 512, and on which information is printed; a fourth index label part 514 which extends along the spine 612; and a fifth index label part 515 which extends along the other cover 613, and which is attached to the other cover 613. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
