<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a quick-hardening agent to be used for cement compositions, having a high initial strength developability, further being excellent in a mid/long-term strength developability, and being capable of obtaining a pot life securing enough working hours of construction and placing. <P>SOLUTION: The quick-hardening agent includes β type gypsum hemihydrate (B) and anhydrous gypsum (C) by a mass ratio (C/B) of 2 to 20, and contains calcium aluminate of 70 to 200 pts.mass to 100 pts.mass of the to a total content of the β type gypsum hemihydrate and the anhydrous gypsum.
