<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the intrusion of birds and animals into a net without impairing the handleability of the net. <P>SOLUTION: This net for avoiding garbage from birds and animals includes: a net body 1 for storing a garbage bag G; and a trap 2 continuously provided at the lower opening of the net body 1. The trap 2 is positioned inside the net body 1, and composed of a first annular member 3, a second annular member 4 arranged inside the first annular member 3 and having a diameter smaller than that of the first annular member 3, and an annular beltl-ike trap net 5 stretched between both the annular members 3, 4. The net body 1 is provided with a weight member 6 pressing the trap net 5 from above, and both the annular members 3, 4 are used in a state of being laid on the ground. The birds and animals try to lift the first annular member 3 and to intrude into the trap 2, however, the birds and animals are covered with the trap net 5 from an overhead side. Thereby, the birds and animals instinctively sense a danger and give up intrusion into the net body 1.
