<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To downsize a carbon dioxide reaction tank in a pH treatment apparatus for alkaline raw water and perform a drastic reduction in running cost. <P>SOLUTION: The carbon dioxide reaction tank includes: an outer cylinder 24 having a raw water discharge tube 29 at an upper end; an inner cylinder 26 arranged concentrically inside the outer cylinder 24, which is shorter in length than the outer cylinder 24; a raw water supply tube 27 which is inserted concentrically into the inner cylinder 26 with a nozzle 27a provided at the end facing the inner cylinder 26; and a carbon dioxide supply tube 28 provided on the exterior position of the inner cylinder 26 in the raw water supply tube 27. Mixed water of the carbon dioxide and the alkaline raw water spouting from the nozzle 27a is discharged from the lower side of the inner cylinder 26 into the outer cylinder 24 inside to invert the flowing direction, and is discharged from the raw water discharge tube 29 outside. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
