944,883. Cast concrete floors or ceilings. RHEINBAU G.m.b.H. Aug. 29, 1961 [Sept. 5, 1960], No. 31036/61. Heading E1V. A form arrangement for casting a transverse connecting member in a ceiling structure formed of spaced parallel girders 1, Fig. 1, and cast concrete includes a panel 7 of metal, synthetic plastic, paperboard or the like, which is folded into a channelshaped element and is fitted between adjacent ceiling girders 1 with the opening upwards and with the longitudinal direction of the channel shaped element extending transversely of the girders. Such form elements may be laid in alignment upon lower webs 2 of the girders to form a transverse channel for the reception of reinforcements 11 and 12. Filler blocks 5, or corrugated sheet metal arched form elements 18, Fig. 5, are interposed between adjacent channel forming elements. The side walls 16 of each channel forming element may be bridged by a spacer 20 which at its ends 19 constitutes clip means for connecting each of the side walls 16 to the adjacent form element 18. Alternatively, the spacer 20 may be dispensed with and individual clips provided to connect the side walls 16 to the elements 18. The girders 1 are of openwork metal formation with the bottom boom embedded within a cast concrete lower chord.
