PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a base station capable of efficiently communicating with a terminal, the terminal, and a communication system in a communication system in which the base station and the terminal communicate with each other.

SOLUTION: A terminal for communicating with a base station comprises: means for performing demodulation processing using a transmission power control (TPC) command included in a downlink control information (DCI) format as a first TPC command when the DCI format is detected in a first state and obtaining a power correction value from the first TPC command; means for performing demodulation processing also for a second TPC command in addition to the first TPC command included in the DCI format used as the TPC command when the DCI format is detected in a second state and obtaining power correction values respectively from the first TPC command and the second TPC command.
