<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coaxial connector that can be strongly fixed to a coaxial cable and can prevent characteristic impedance from deviating from a predetermined characteristic impedance. <P>SOLUTION: A housing 12 includes: a cylindrical part 20 having a central axis substantially orthogonal to an extension direction in which a coaxial cable 220 extends; and a holding part 23 extending from the cylindrical part 20 along the coaxial cable 220. A bushing 14 is attached to the housing 12. A socket 16 is located at the center of the cylindrical part 20 when plan-viewed from a direction in which the central axis extends, and is insulated from the housing 12 by the bushing 14 and is connected to a center conductor 224. The holding part 23 includes: a swaging part 28 to hold an external conductor 222; and a contact part 30 that contacts with an insulating film 221.
