<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To minimize deterioration of the coupling characteristics of a coupler device, even if neighboring metals are used while facing a ground plate. <P>SOLUTION: The coupler device mounted on a communication apparatus and transmitting and receiving electromagnetic waves between other coupler device by electromagnetic coupling includes a coupling element, a ground plate and at least one connection element. The coupling element is composed of a planar conductive material, and being fed with power at a reference point. The ground plate is composed of a planar conductive material, and partially faces a part of the coupling element. The connection element is composed of a conductive material and fixed to the ground plate, and comes into contact with a metal member provided in a communication apparatus to face the ground plate thus connecting the ground plate and the metal member electrically. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
