PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a raw material imparting a full body taste to a beverage in a container, since in recent years, a market of non-alcoholic beer, etc., expands, and various refreshing beverages having a beer flavor are developed, but since the use of raw material such as hop, etc., is limited by a cost problem, recent state is that the full body taste in these beverages is insufficient as compared with that of the beer, and also in a coffee beverage, a carbonate beverage, etc., having zero kilo calorie, since usable raw materials are limited by a calorie problem, and sucrose, fructose and glucose, which have become as the full body taste components, cannot be blended, their tastes become insufficient, and therefore, the development of a raw material capable of exhibiting a sufficient effect in imparting the full body taste is desired.
SOLUTION: The full body taste for the beverage in the container is imparted by adding a tea extract containing high concentration catechin having ≤1.0% gallate ratio, ≤0.002 (oxalic acid/non-polymerized catechin) ratio and ≤0.015 (caffeine/non-polymerized catechin) ratio, into the beverage in the container.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
