<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery offering excellent cycle stability. <P>SOLUTION: The nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery includes a negative electrode composed of lithium titanate; a nonaqueous electrolyte that contains a phosphate with a substituent, which is typically an alkyl group such as a 2H-hexafluoroisopropyl group or a 2,2,2-trifluoroethyl group; and a positive electrode that contains Li1+xMyMn2-x-yO4, where 0≤x≤0.2, 0<y≤0.6, and M represents an element that belongs to one of groups 2-13, and period 3 or 4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
