<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet printing device capable of improving the quality of printed image with or without tension or by use of tension difference applied to the material to be printed when printing. <P>SOLUTION: An ink jet printing device comprises: an ink ejecting part 3 for ejecting ink on one surface of a material to be printed; tension applying mechanism 17 for applying tension to the material to be printed; controlling part 15 for controlling tension applied to the material to be printed by means of the tension applying mechanism, the controlling part being configured to switch between a first tension applied state, in which a tension is applied in a range from zero to a prescribed set value, and a second tension applied state, in which a tension larger than the set value is applied. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
