<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotation detecting device which can secure sealing performance without using an O-ring with respect to an opening of a cylindrical member, and prevent a sensor cap from being fallen out by improving fixing force. <P>SOLUTION: The rotation detecting device, which includes a body section 51 installing a rotation detecting section 6 at a location facing an encoder 4 and closing an axial direction one side of a cylindrical member 3, and a sensor cap 5 having an interfitting section 52 extending from the body section 51 to an axial direction the other side and being fixed in interfit at an axial direction one side end inner side of the cylindrical member 3, wherein the interfitting section 52 includes a metal section 522 which is formed by metal and has a metal cylindrical section contacted to an inner circumferential surface of axial direction one side end of the cylindrical member 3, and an elastic section 521 having an elastic cylindrical section which is formed of elastic material smaller in elastic coefficient than the metal section 522 and contacted to the inner circumferential surface of the axial direction one side end of the cylindrical member 3 at the axial direction one side of the metal cylindrical section. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
