<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten processing time from detection of a master unit to a slave unit's establishment of synchronization. <P>SOLUTION: A communication device which is a communication device operating as a master unit having a high-speed synchronization function comprises: a radio part 110 for performing communication of a TDMA method using a frame composed of a plurality of slots as a unit with another communication device through an antenna ANT; and a synchronization control part 130 which is configured by a MPU and performs processing for transmitting information required for synchronizing with a control part 120 which is similarly configured by a MPU storing transmission data and determines whether to utilize the high-speed synchronization function. The communication device can transmit the information required for establishing synchronization with one control signal or control signals of the smaller number of times than that of a conventional one.
