<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a throughput and storage information amount for acquiring a browsing history of a Web page. <P>SOLUTION: A URL determination part 2 of a Web browsing history acquisition system 1 determines whether or not a URL of a Web page to be browsed is coincident with the predetermined URL of a black list L. When it is determined that both URLs are coincident, a simplified history acquisition part 3 temporarily stores simplified history information in a DB 7. When it is determined that both URLs are not coincident, a detailed history acquisition part 4 temporarily stores detailed history information in the DB 7. A significance calculation part 5 calculates the significance of the Web page from the detailed history information in the DB7, and determines the level of significance. A detailed history deletion means 6 deletes the information amount of the detailed history information of the Web page whose significance is low, and updates the history information.
