<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve operability in conventional zoom scanning which is carried out by adjustment of an operation member capable of being revolved. <P>SOLUTION: An image sensor 16, a zoom lens 12 and a CPU26 are included in a digital camera 10. The image sensor 16 outputs an electronic image corresponding to an optical image captured through the zoom lens 12. The CPU26 extracts one portion of the electronic image belonging to an extraction region among the electronic images outputted from the image sensor 16. In addition, arrangement of the zoom lens 12 is adjusted by referring to a first zoom magnification and the size of the extraction region is adjusted by referring to a second zoom magnification. A CPU52 of an outside controller 50 inputs a zoom magnification and inputs an extraction position. Furthermore, the CPU52 adjusts the first zoom magnification and the second zoom magnification referred to by the CPU26 based on the inputted zoom magnification and sets that adjustment mode to a different mode according to the inputted extraction position. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
