The method involves fixing a main module (21) of an electrical control device (13) on a reinforcement element (12) ensuring a resumption of efforts between a trimming panel of interior upholstery and a rigid structure of a door. The element is assembled with the panel on a level of a face of the panel relative to the rigid structure. The panel is fixed on the rigid structure of the door. An overcoated hub cap (23) of the control device is clipped on the reinforcement element and/or the main module, in a direction opposed to a mounting direction of the main module on the element.
